Privacy policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
Docu filing is published by Laneco Digital. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, or your name and email if you sign in with Google.
- Your documents: files you upload, photos you take with the camera, notes you write, and the text read from them.
- Your folders and filing rules.
How we use it
- To store your documents and keep them in sync across your devices.
- To read text from pages, sort documents into folders, make them searchable, and read them aloud. Page images and text are sent to an AI service only to do this, and are not used for advertising.
We do not sell your information, show ads, or share it with anyone except the services needed to run the app.
Camera
The camera is used only when you choose to scan a page. Photos are saved to your account and nowhere else.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Your documents are private to your account and cannot be seen by other users.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data is kept until you delete it. You can delete single documents at any time, or delete your whole account and everything in it on the Delete account page. Deletion is permanent and happens right away.
Children
Docu filing is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
